On September 30th, 2010, the V Scientific Symposium of the Alicia Koplowitz Foundation will take place in Madrid, in the Foundation’s “Profesor Uría” Auditorium (Principe de Vergara, 187).

During the Session, Dr. Judith L. Rapoport, Chief Child Psychiatry Branch, from the National Institute of Mental Health, in Maryland, USA will give a talk titled "Childhood Onset Schizophrenia: What has it taught us?”, with simultaneous translation.

On the 29th of April Dr Mª Concepción Guisasola joined the Foundation as the new Coordinator of the Medical-Scientific Programme.

On 17th May 2010, the Alicia Koplowitz Foundation and the Profesor Uria Foundation entered into a "MASTER COLLABORATION AGREEMENT”, commiting themselves to diligently collaborate in the creation and execution of programs which support the children and adolescents.

The Alicia Koplowitz Foundation sponsors the creation and maintenance of a new web portal centred on Child and Youth Psychiatry in the Health Section of www.elmundo.es

The Alicia Koplowitz Foundation signed an agreement with the publishers “Unidad Editorial” to create and maintain a new portal about Child and Youth Psychiatry in the Health Section of elmundo.es web page.
